Equinox: a spring writing series

Spring equinox is a time of reawakening and rebirth. There is no better season to connect to our voice and our creativity. Storytelling and exploring personal myth and mystery is potent medicine. Join us for four sessions of writing, sharing, and digging deep into our wild words. We will meet the day before spring equinox and will gather again each Thursday until just after April’s full pink moon.
This is a course for adults of all writing levels. Bring a fast-writing pen, a notebook, and an open mind.

Needle Felted Wee Chickies
Come and learn the basics of needle felting during this fun beginner class (ages 13 and up).
We will make small wire armatures and wrap wool to form the Chick body and beak. Using wool shapes, we will sculpt the wool to fill out the chick and add wings. The addition of wire feet is optional if you want your chick to sit up. It can also be used as a hanging ornament.
Space is limited to 8 people, so please register and pay for your seat ASAP.

Bargello Bracelet Sip and Stitch
Bring a friend and a favorite beverage and learn to make a hand-stitched bracelet bangle using Bargello needlepoint techniques. Choose from color schemes or go your own way! Enjoy some stitching and chatting time while learning a traditional needlepoint technique brought to life in a colorful, modern way. All supplies provided.

Fabric dyeing from around the world
Join us for an introduction to fabric dyeing techniques from around the world.
During this class you will have the opportunity to create 3 bandanas.
There will be additional blank items to dye such as socks, pillowcases and scarves (available for purchase.)
Participants should wear old clothes (in case of spills or splashes)
