This class is for those who have previous mosaic experience. Bring a project to work on and get guidance from the instructor as needed. Basic tools, glues and mosaic tiles and glass provided for your project while in class. Additional mosaic surfaces available for purchase in class such as picture frames, boxes, plaques and more. Tile assortments and grouting kits for working at home will also be available for purchase.

Interested in learning the art of glass mosaics? Come and join local artist Terry Foreman to create a small mosaic jewelry box using a mix of glass and ceramic tiles. You’ll learn to nip, glue and make colored grout in this two session class. You may use your nipper and supplies between classes to chip away at more complicated designs. All materials supplied. Must be able to attend both sessions.



Mosaic Spooky Votives

Learn to mosaic with stained glass scraps using upcycled jars using silhouettes of pumpkins, cats, haunted houses, bats, anything spooky. Jars make great tea light holders perfect for lighting up your Halloween decor. We’ll mosaic and grout 1 votive in our 4 hr. Session. All materials supplied. Bring a snack if you like.
Mosaic Door Stop

Learn the basics of mosaics while working on a brick that can be used in the garden or as a doorstop. You’ll learn to nip, glue and make colored grout in this two session class. Mosaic in the first class, grout in the 2nd class. All materials supplied. These techniques are adaptable to making stepping stones for the yard.
Graffiti Star Ornaments

Play with decoupage papers, metallic markers and fun graffiti doodles on small wood stars to make unique holiday ornaments. Class includes everything you'll need to make 3-4 ornaments including colorful cords to hang them. All materials supplied. Bring a drink/snack if you like.

Beginner Friendly Needle Felted Sleepy Fox Class

Do you love the idea of creating little curled up furry foxes to live in the nooks and crannies around your home? Come and join Marsha of Marsha Neal Studio to learn how to make this little palm sized sleeping fox with a piece of wire surrounded by wrapping and stabbing wool into a sculpted shape. We will finish one in class, and you will have the materials, tools and knowledge to make the second on your own.

Beginner Needle Felted Ghost and Mini Pumpkin Ornament Set Class

It’s time to get ready to decorate for the spooky season. Come and learn how to needle felt these cute little 4” long ghost ornaments and a mini pumpkin for them to hold. Students should complete 1 ornament set in class and have enough materials to make 1 more set and a couple additional mini pumpkins on their own.

Do you love the fall season and want to learn how to needle felt? Come stab and sculpt three of these 3-4” fall inspired pumpkins with Marsha. We will cover a couple of stem styles so you can make yours unique. Students should complete 1 pumpkin in class and will have enough materials, tools, and knowledge to make the 2 more on your own. You can decide if you want to make yours into a Halloween Jack O’Lantern by adding a face.

Ready to learn how to stab and sculpt forms to create your own hollow base gnome that can be used as a bottle topper or to just decorate a shelf in your home. After you’ve completed one in class you will have the materials and tools to create one more on your own. Collage: Mystery and Magic

Paper scraps and glue. From humble materials we will create a unique expressive collage. Beginning our piece with an image transfer on fabric, this focal will inspire the colors and composition. We will cut, tear, layer and glue to design our collage on a small canvas board. Embellishments? Yes - button, thread, Stamps, stencils… we will select accents to add the finishing touch! All levels welcome!

Join local crafter Leslie Friedman for a beginner crochet class at Bellefonte Arts. Students will learn how to do the chain stitch and go on to the single crochet stitch. After learning the single crochet, students will leave with the knowledge and materials to work on a dishcloth on their own. Intro to Neurographic Art Class with Teren Neal

Neurographic art is a therapeutic art form that utilizes drawing, or “doodling” freeform lines called “neuro lines.”
These lines, drawn with the simplest of tools, are meant to enable the connection between the conscious and unconscious. This connection is made by the brain cells called neurons being activated in a way that brings forth awareness and mindfulness. This awareness and mindfulness can turn stress into calm. Neurographic art has been used as a healing aid for everything from stress relief, anxiety, chronic pain, and grief among many more.
