Longwood Gardens reached out to Bellefonte Arts in the spring to see if our community of artists would like to decorate one of their eight, 12’ tall Fraser Fur community trees in the Conservatory Ballroom for their annual event: A Longwood Christmas. It was a delightful Yes! to be able to bring our artist community together to create special pieces for display. We had 34 individuals create over 360 ornaments for this tree, 32 yards of hand dyed and handspun garland and a needle felted Damon bear tree topper.
