Andre Jones Fine Art and Illustrations Longwood Community Tree Ornaments

I tried to create from a fun, joyful and playful space. All of my ornaments were inspired by characters, songs and family rituals. I spent time thinking about days gone by and what memories brought joy to me and then away I went designing on my computer.

On the computer I was able to work quickly and zoom in to get details correct and yet zoom out and use large brushes and the paint bucket tool to fill in large positive and negative spaces in a blink. I guess my favorite part of the process though, was drawing and getting lost in creating the images. After that, things just seemed to be on cruise control.
