This fall she had her artwork in a number of artist exhibitions (group and solo) and yet she was able to fit in making ornaments and handspun garland for the Bellefonte Arts Community Tree at Longwood Gardens.

Charlese collaborated with fellow Bellefonte artist Marsha of Marsha Neal Studio, on the color palette of for the garland for the Bellefonte Longwood Community Tree based on the A Longwood Christmas theme of Gems and Jewel Tones.

Marsha dyed the sheep curls through Sarafina Fiber Art, where she works part time, and brought the locks to Charlese to spin into fiber magic as you can see in her video:

Charlese utilized self-taught techniques and her electric spinner to create 32 yards of handspun, jewel toned yarn garland for the Bellefonte Tree.

Wrapped in embroidery thread, Angelina fiber sparkles, and some dyed feathers, this garland helps to connect the work of all of the talented artists who contributed to this tree.
