Stephanie Grant keeps her own Bee Hives and processes the beeswax and honey through her business Sassy Bee. When figuring out what kind of ornaments she wanted to make for the Bellefonte Arts Community Tree at Longwood Gardens, her thoughts went to her bees. Check out her video:
A Hive Throughout the Seasons is a collection of 4 ornaments inspired by nature, created by honeybees! Each of the 4 glass globes were drawn out by honey bees with varying levels of beeswax comb.

The above globes are adored with flowers depicting the corresponding seasons from top to bottom: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
You can view these beautiful ornaments on the Bellefonte Arts community tree at Longwood Gardens, during the annual A Longwood Christmas (Nov 21, 2025 through Jan 11, 2026). And if you find yourself in Bellefonte, DE, you can find Stephanie's Sassy Bee various items in the Bellefonte Arts Shop and Lotus Lane, a Collective.
