Winter scenes by Words and Water inspired by the calm quiet magic of winter nights.

Enjoying the stillness of a cold night just before snow begins to fall, or making a snowman, or remembering a special person who was huggable like a big teddy bear who wore red suspenders, or seeing the spectacle of the Northern lights.

A time for celebrating Solstice and the returning of the light and decorating with evergreens and holly and candles.

Using watercolor to depict some of these special moments, memories, and celebrations.
